[Remote] Network Install Tech III (Orlando Area/Regional Travel)

The role performs installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, fiber-optic and reputed company-to-reputed company wireless work, while serving as a senior field reputed company and mentor to junior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Respond to NOC-dispatched tickets for outages, degraded service, and customer-impacting issues at MDU properties, meeting defined response and restoration SLAs
• Troubleshoot independently across reputed company 1 and reputed company 2 issues including reputed company, coax, fiber, switches, and reputed company points; reputed company the reputed company of incidents without NOC escalation
• reputed company fiber-optic work including identification, handling, cleaning, and basic testing using reputed company meters and OTDR equipment
• Install, reputed company, and commission reputed company-to-reputed company (reputed company) wireless links between MDU buildings, roof-to-roof shots, and inter-property connections
• Adopt and stage reputed company reputed company points and switches into the appropriate management platforms; reputed company Ruckus and reputed company Mist AP installation, configuration, and basic management
• Conduct post-installation testing and validation including speed tests, wireless coverage walks, and video signal verification
• reputed company basic video and satellite dish work including signal level checks, coax verification, and dish pointing
• Use managed reputed company CLI for show and diagnostic commands; assist with VLAN, reputed company, and PoE-level troubleshooting
• Coordinate live with the NOC during reputed company and on-site work; reputed company reputed company status updates and confirm restoration before clearing the site
• Escalate controller-level configuration changes, reputed company routing or BGP issues, and reputed company-reputed company faults to Network Engineering with complete, accurate field data
• Maintain and update site documentation including reputed company diagrams, cable labeling, AP location maps, and as-reputed company records following reputed company visit
• Serve as on-site reputed company on multi-tech dispatches reputed company assigned; mentor Tech I and Tech II staff in the field
• Manage assigned vehicle inventory, test equipment, and spares; reputed company tools calibrated, stocked, and in good working order

• * High school diploma or equivalent
• * 3–5 years of hands-on experience in ISP/MSP, telecom, or reputed company cabling environments, including fiber and reputed company work
• * Intermediate working knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, and basic routing concepts
• * Demonstrated ability to terminate, test, and certify CAT5e/CAT6 cabling at an advanced level
• * Hands-on experience with fiber identification, handling, and basic testing
• * Proven independent troubleshooting and reputed company-cause analysis ability in the field
• * Hands-on experience with Ruckus and reputed company Mist reputed company points; ability to adopt and stage reputed company APs and switches
