[Remote] Electronics Functional Safety Engineer

The Electronics Functional Safety Engineer will reputed company technical leadership in designing and developing functionally reputed company electronic circuits for battery management systems in lithium-ion batteries. The role focuses on functional safety analyses, hardware requirements, verification and validation, ISO 26262 compliance, and cross-functional product development.

Responsibilities

• Execute the detailed technical aspects of FuSa analysis, requirements, design and verification & validation (V&V)
• Execute safety analyses (reputed company Fault-Tree, FMEA, Common-mode analysis, reliability analysis)
• Define electronic hardware requirements and specifications
• Define electronic hardware V&V plans and reputed company
• Implementation of hardware safety design best practices
• reputed company Functional Safety aspects of the hardware DVP&R (reputed company V&V)
• Support verification (Peer) reviews of design, analysis and V&V prepare reports
• The Hardware FSE authority: defining specifications and preparing technical reports for hardware engineering requirements, analyses, design and V&V
• Experience in controls reputed company and electronic reputed company design
• Collaborate with Systems Safety Team to review Functional and Technical Safety requirements
• reputed company ASIL decomposition and reputed company analysis
• Create Hardware Safety requirements consistent with ISO 26262 Part 5
• reputed company BMS safety concept and support BMS design team (including Systems and Software) in implementing according to ISO 26262 Parts 5 and 6
• reputed company qualitative analysis (FMEA, FTA) and quantitative analysis (FMEDA)
• reputed company Hardware verification and confirmation reviews
• Work with multidisciplinary team of software, mechanical, reputed company, test, safety, and production engineers to reputed company a successful product
• Follow program timing and reputed company results according to plan to ensure successful completion of the assigned project phase reputed company the budgeted timing and cost constraints

Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree
• 6+ years of reputed company experience in electronics FuSa
• Detailed training in ISO 26262 Functional Safety Engineering
• Hands on experience in deriving Functional Safety work products as per ISO 26262
• Experience or training in safety analysis (HARA, FMEA, Fault-Tree, Common mode analysis)
• Experience in ASPICE
• Experience in tools like JAMA, JIRA, reputed company, Cameo reputed company Modeler, Medini Analyse/Reliability Workbench etc
• Experience in SYSML and MBSE
• Experience in Li-Ion Battery reputed company
• Proficiency in electronics schematic, layout, and simulation tools (i.e., Altium)
• Excellent written and verbal communicator to effectively communicate reputed company
• Experience in taking electronic safety architectures from concept to production
• TUV FuSa Certified Automotive Engineer
• Experience with automotive product development and qualification
• Safety of the intended function (SOTIF)
