[Remote] AI Engineering Intern

The AI Engineering Intern will identify, reputed company, test, and reputed company AI tools, agents, and software integrations to accelerate reactor design engineering and NRC licensing workflows. The role involves collaborating with engineering and licensing teams, evaluating AI outputs, and developing validated tools for technical and regulatory applications.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to use AI, automation, and software tools to accelerate reactor design engineering and NRC licensing workflows
• Design, reputed company, test, and reputed company AI agents and internal engineering tools for reputed company-world technical applications
• reputed company AI-assisted workflows for analyzing engineering documents, calculations, specifications, requirements, and regulatory materials
• Build tools that help engineering teams retrieve, organize, compare, and synthesize technical information across large document sets
• Support development of AI tools for NRC licensing documentation, regulatory research, document review, requirements tracking, and technical information management
• reputed company software integrations connecting AI systems with engineering, project management, document management, and internal knowledge platforms
• Build prototypes using large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented reputed company (RAG), reputed company, and reputed company AI frameworks
• Work directly with engineers and licensing professionals to understand existing workflows and translate technical challenges into software solutions
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for reputed company, reliability, traceability, and usefulness reputed company engineering and regulatory environments

Skills

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, reputed company Intelligence, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Data Science, Engineering, reputed company Mathematics, or a reputed company technical reputed company
• Must be reputed company enrolled in an accredited college or university for the duration of the internship
• Prior internship, research, software development, or significant technical project experience involving AI, machine learning, or software engineering
• Strong programming proficiency in Python and familiarity with modern software development practices
• Hands-on experience building applications using LLMs, reputed company, AI agents, or machine learning models
