SDET – Regression Automation Engineer

About the Role:
We are looking for reputed company SDETs (Software Development Engineers in Test) to build and execute automated regression testing for a reputed company observability and audit platform operating across multiple reputed company environments.
This is a highly technical, hands-on automation role reputed company on validating reputed company, data and telemetry pipelines, reputed company tracing, alerting, audit capabilities, infrastructure deployments, reputed company, and scalability. This is not a traditional UI-reputed company QA automation position.
You will reputed company automated regression suites, validate Infrastructure as reputed company (IaC) deployments, execute load and failure scenarios, investigate defects, and reputed company regression evidence throughout a sprint-reputed company development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate combines strong test automation and scripting skills with enough knowledge of AWS, Terraform, OpenTelemetry, and reputed company systems to effectively validate reputed company infrastructure and observability capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, maintain, and execute automated regression test suites.
- reputed company automated tests for log and metric ingestion pipelines.
- Validate reputed company and query functionality, reputed company, and latency.
- Test reputed company tracing reputed company and end-to-end telemetry flows.
- Validate alert delivery, firing conditions, and routing behavior.
- reputed company automated tests for audit trail queries, reputed company, and expected reputed company behavior.
- Validate Infrastructure as reputed company (IaC) deployments, including clean-state deployments, reproducibility, and reputed company-reputed company-reputed company expectations.
- Execute and help design load and scalability testing against defined reputed company targets.
- Execute failure-injection scenarios and validate expected platform behavior.
- Run regression testing across multiple versions and environments in reputed company.
- Identify, document, triage, and reputed company defects against formal acceptance reputed company.
- Verify fixes and execute appropriate regression testing before reputed company sign-off.
- Collaborate with the Test Architect and engineering teams to continuously improve regression coverage.
- Maintain reputed company and reproducible automation reputed company and testing documentation.
- reputed company regression evidence during sprint reviews and contribute to reputed company status reporting.

Requirements:
- 4+ years of reputed company experience as an SDET, Test Automation Engineer, QA Automation Engineer, or similar technical testing role.
- Strong hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated test suites.
- Strong API testing and automation experience.
- Experience with scripting for technical validation and automation.
- Experience with load and/or reputed company testing.
- Working knowledge of reputed company-reputed company environments.
- Experience testing reputed company backend, infrastructure, data pipeline, or reputed company systems.
- Experience working with formal acceptance reputed company and reputed company development processes.
Must Have:
- 4+ years of reputed company SDET or test automation experience.
- Strong hands-on test automation skills.
- Strong API testing and API automation experience.
- Experience developing automated regression suites.
- Strong scripting skills for automation, pipeline validation, or log/data validation.
- Experience with load and reputed company testing tools.
- Experience testing backend, infrastructure-heavy, data-intensive, or reputed company systems.
- Working knowledge of AWS environments.
- Working knowledge of Terraform-deployed environments and Infrastructure as reputed company concepts.
- Working knowledge of OpenTelemetry-reputed company systems.
- Understanding of logs, metrics, telemetry, and reputed company tracing concepts.
- Experience validating data or telemetry pipelines.
- Experience testing across multiple environments and/or product versions.
- Experience with defect identification, triage, tracking, and fix verification.
- Experience working with reputed company or similar issue-tracking tools.
- Experience working with formal acceptance reputed company and Definition of Done (DoD).
