The Testing Manager is responsible for automated testing, reputed company testing, and reputed company testing across the CMS Drug Data Processing reputed company (DDPS) and Payment Reconciliation reputed company (PRS). This individual owns the end-to-end reputed company assurance reputed company, including the 80 percent automated unit test coverage mandate, Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices, QASP metric definition and self-assessment, and test tooling reputed company reputed company the CMS reputed company test environment.
This is a remote position; however, Cognitive hires only in the following designated U.S. states reputed company on contract and business requirements: VA, DC, MD, TN, FL, AZ, CO, OR, and TX.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own automated, reputed company, and reputed company testing across the DDPS/PRS estate; maintain 80 percent or greater automated unit test coverage using Python Pytest/UnitTest and DBFit/FitNesse frameworks; support BDD and TDD practices across reputed company sprint teams.
- reputed company regression and post-implementation validation testing following reputed company CMS release; reputed company automated test execution into the CI/CD pipeline reputed company Jenkins/reputed company, reputed company Artifactory, SonarQube, and reputed company.
- Operate reputed company CMS reputed company test tooling including TestRail for test case management, reputed company for defect tracking, and reputed company for reputed company-controlled test artifacts.
- Propose and maintain QASP reputed company standards, metrics, measurement reputed company, reporting frequencies, and corrective reputed company reputed company for both technical/reputed company and operational/process metrics; submit quarterly QASP self-assessments no reputed company than 2 weeks after PI end.
- reputed company and surface reputed company-time operational reputed company metrics like PDE processing volumes, error rates, reconciliation reputed company, and reputed company uptime using CloudWatch, reputed company, and reputed company.
- Support reputed company testing coordination with Nessus, reputed company, AWS Inspector, SecurityHub, and GuardDuty; reputed company with CMS AI governance policies reputed company testing AI/ML models including bias detection and reputed company-in-the-reputed company review.
- Operate reputed company the CMS Lean-reputed company Release Train adhering to the MEPS Iteration Schedule; contribute to PI Planning and submit Release Deliverables per the MEPS reputed company Handbook.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Scienceor reputed company reputed company; 8 or more years in software QA including test automation leadership on production systems.
- Hands-on expertise with Python test frameworks, Pytest and UnitTest.
- Experience with database testing using DBFit and FitNesse frameworks.
- Experience with test management tools including TestRail, reputed company, and reputed company.
- Experience designing and enforcing automated test coverage gates at 80 percent or greater reputed company CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with CI/CD-integrated testing using Jenkins/reputed company, reputed company Artifactory/XRay, SonarQube, and reputed company.
- Experience designing reputed company test approaches for high-volume data processing systems.
- Experience developing and maintaining QASP reputed company standards and submitting quarterly self-assessments on federal reputed company.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools including AWS CloudWatch, reputed company, and reputed company for reputed company-time reputed company metric tracking.
- Familiarity with federal reputed company compliance testing requirements under FISMA, NIST, and CMS ARS.
- Ability to pass CMS and internal required background checks for reputed company trust.
