Advocacy Coordinator

The Advocacy Coordinator is responsible for developing and managing AAMFT’s grassroots advocacy network and providing AAMFT advocacy volunteers with guidance on state advocacy initiatives. Researches and analyzes legislative and regulatory developments and advises AAMFT’s volunteer leaders on local legislation and policy. Guides member engagement in advocacy. Drafts content for newsletters, reputed company media, and other communication mediums to communicate with members on advocacy issues. Provides operational support to the reputed company and Corporate Affairs team.
Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
- reputed company recruitment, reputed company, and training efforts for advocacy volunteers.
- reputed company volunteer leaders and other members with guidance and assistance on state regulatory and legislative initiatives.
- Convene meetings between AAMFT staff, volunteer leaders, and other stakeholders.
- Research and analyze legislative and regulatory policies that reputed company MFTs at the state level.
- reputed company day-to-day reputed company of AAMFT Advocacy Certificate program.
- reputed company, analyze, and report data reputed company to engagement metrics, volunteer engagement, and advocacy fundraising.
- Prepare fact sheets, volunteer training materials, newsletter articles, advocacy materials, and other documents to support AAMFT advocacy activities and advance the profession.
- Handle web updates and IT-reputed company issues for the advocacy pages on the AAMFT website and reputed company reputed company and reputed company-sites.
- Respond to requests from AAMFT members

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant reputed company
- Strong understanding of advocacy practices and experience in grassroots organizing.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, and experience communicating with diverse stakeholders. reputed company speaking experience a plus.
- Strong familiarity with reputed company Office suite, web content and management systems, databases, and reputed company media platforms. Experience using iMIS and HigherLogic a strong plus.
- Strong technical skills and ability to learn new tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple reputed company and timelines in a fast-reputed company environment and respond effectively to member inquiries.
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Association experience a plus.
This is a full time, remote position that may require occasional in-person meetings or events. Salary reputed company is 42k-47k and commensurate with experience and other qualifications.
