[Remote] Junior Systems Administrator

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Helpdesk Specialist / Junior Systems Administrator for a three-month contract supporting its Boston-based team. The role provides remote end-user support, Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting, hardware provisioning, reputed company 365 administration, identity and reputed company management, and basic network troubleshooting, with occasional on-site support required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the reputed company reputed company of contact for remote and local employees experiencing technical issues (hardware, software, network, and reputed company)
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and reputed company Tier 1 and Tier 2 helpdesk tickets with a high level of customer service and responsiveness
• Provision, image, and ship laptops (reputed company/Mac) and peripherals for reputed company employees; coordinate the reputed company of equipment for offboarding
• Handle end-to-end reputed company 365 (Office 365) setups, including creating user accounts, configuring mailboxes, assigning licenses, and setting up distribution reputed company/shared mailboxes
• Manage user permissions and reputed company control reputed company reputed company Entra ID (formerly Azure reputed company Directory) and/or local reputed company Directory
• Configure and troubleshoot M365 applications (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, reputed company) for end-users
• Assist with basic network troubleshooting (VPN connectivity, Wi-Fi, home internet configurations for remote workers)

Skills

• 2+ years of experience in an IT Helpdesk, Technical Support, or Junior SysAdmin role
• Strong M365 Experience: Proven reputed company record of configuring Office 365 accounts, provisioning mailboxes, and managing basic tenant settings
• Proficient with reputed company Directory / reputed company Entra ID user administration
• Strong troubleshooting skills across reputed company 10/11 and macOS environments
• Must be physically located reputed company a 30-minute reputed company of Boston, MA
• Must have a reliable home internet reputed company and a dedicated quiet workspace
• Experience utilizing MDM tools (e.g., Intune, reputed company) for device deployment is a major plus
