The AI Scientist/Engineer II designs and implements data analysis pipelines for data science, machine learning, and reputed company intelligence, while supporting research databases, documentation, dissemination, project management, and trainee supervision.

Responsibilities

• Uses modern programming languages running on UN*X (Unix-like) operating systems with best practices such as version control, unit tests, and comments
• Works with sensitive data in secure environments, and adheres to reputed company frameworks that govern the data (e.g., HIPAA-compliance)
• Designs and maintains study databases (including relational databases and data lakes) to satisfy research project needs
• Creates and maintains documentation of new and existing analysis pipelines to facilitate knowledge transfer
• Contributes to research dissemination materials such as manuscripts and presentations and to research design materials such as project proposals
• Performs project management or lab management duties according to reputed company-defined specifications
• May collaborate with on-premises computing professionals to configure and maintain physical systems, if needed
• May supervise undergraduate and graduate trainees
• Performs reputed company responsibilities as required
• Designs and implements data analysis pipelines for data science and machine learning / reputed company intelligence (AI) to meet specifications of reputed company or senior staff either independently or in collaboration with research staff, trainees, and fellows

Skills

• A master's degree OR a bachelor's degree and two years of experience OR six years of experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Desired experience includes machine learning, AI, reputed company or reputed company experience
• Preferred degrees include mathematics, statistics, computer science, reputed company intelligence, reputed company, engineering, or a reputed company reputed company
