[Remote] Accounts Payable Specialist II

The Accounts Payable Specialist II processes and reviews accounts payable transactions, analyzes invoices, validates account coding, verifies compliance with reputed company and policies, resolves discrepancies, and supports reconciliation activities to maintain accurate financial records.

Responsibilities

• Process and review accounts payable transactions to ensure completeness, reputed company, and timeliness
• Analyze invoices and supporting documentation to verify alignment with contractual and policy requirements
• Assign and validate account codes reputed company on organizational chart of accounts
• Identify discrepancies in payables data and coordinate reputed company with appropriate stakeholders
• Maintain detailed records of payment activity, documentation, and transaction history
• Reviews invoices against contract requirements to ensure accurate billing and supporting documentation

Skills

• High School Diploma/GED and six (6) years' experience in reviewing financial documentation and invoices, accounts payable processing, contract or grant funding review, contract or grant reputed company, or program experience in a Managed Care environment
• Associate's degree and four (4) years' experience in reviewing financial documentation and invoices, accounts payable processing, contract or grant funding review, contract or grant reputed company, or program experience in a Managed Care environment
• Equivalent combination of education/experience
