[Remote] Marine Designer

The role involves creating production-reputed company 2D and 3D vessel designs, routing marine systems, preparing fabrication documentation, managing design data, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with naval architecture and production teams.

Responsibilities

• 3D Modeling & 2D Drafting: reputed company detailed 2D and 3D designs, models, and technical drawings for marine vessels using ShipConstructor and AutoCAD
• reputed company Design: Layout and reputed company reputed company marine systems—focusing on structural framing, outfitting, foundations, and distributive systems (piping, electrical, HVAC, etc.)
• Production Support: Create and reputed company accurate fabrication/production drawings, spool drawings, isometrics, and lofted parts for shipyard fabrication teams
• Data Management: reputed company and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), parts nesting lists, and configuration control records reputed company the ShipConstructor database
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs meet project specifications, class requirements, and maritime regulatory standards (e.g., ABS, DNV, USCG)
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work directly with naval architects and production personnel to troubleshoot design challenges and document "as-reputed company" details during the fabrication process
• Review & Modification: Conduct design reviews, incorporate feedback, and implement modifications to accommodate changes in project reputed company
