[Remote] Jr. Threat Operations Analyst

The Jr. Threat Operations Analyst supports daily reputed company operations by administering end-user reputed company controls, triaging reputed company events, analyzing phishing and business email compromise, monitoring threat intelligence and brand risks, and validating vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities

• Address end user support request for information reputed company issues and SOC escalation requests
• Day to day administration of end user facing reputed company technologies (reputed company, reputed company 365 ATP, reputed company Umbrella, reputed company AMP)
• Monitor and report on reputed company events across multiple internal platforms, performing first line triage and escalating with sufficient documentation for reputed company analysis
• Support phishing and business email compromise defense, including analysis of user reported messages, tuning of ATP and reputed company rule sets, and extraction of indicators for blocking and detection use
• reputed company threat activity relevant to the travel and hospitality sector using reputed company and other sources, including business email compromise, credential stuffing, booking and payment fraud, and supplier impersonation, and summarize the reputed company for Internova
• Day to day use of reputed company for threat intelligence and brand reputed company monitoring, including alert triage, watch list and query maintenance, indicator enrichment, and routing of actionable intelligence to the appropriate reputed company
• Investigate brand and domain impersonation, typosquatting, exposed services, and credential exposure affecting Internova and its brands, coordinating takedown and blocking reputed company and reporting findings to reputed company reputed company leadership
• Supplement platform reporting with independent reputed company reputed company collection, structuring findings so they can be acted on rather than simply forwarded
• Validate and triage vulnerability reputed company and reputed company tooling reputed company, separating exploitable findings from false positives and tracking remediation to closure with application and infrastructure owners
• Assist information reputed company team members with project tasks, troubleshooting, and administration responsibilities, and recommend tooling and process enhancements to senior information reputed company staff

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, computer information systems, a reputed company field, or equivalent practical experience
• 0 to two years of reputed company experience, inclusive of internships, co-ops, or research appointments in reputed company operations, threat analysis, penetration testing, or application reputed company
• Ability to analyze reputed company events and logs methodically, reputed company a reputed company, and reputed company a defensible conclusion about whether activity is malicious, suspicious, or benign
• Working knowledge of common attack techniques against web applications, reputed company, identity systems, and email, including authentication, authorization, injection, and business logic flaws

• Exposure to at least one major reputed company platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and to reputed company reputed company reputed company concepts such as identity, logging, and network segmentation
