The role focuses on QA automation for React applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Cypress, along with BDD/Gherkin, REST and GraphQL API testing, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
Skills
- 7+ years in QA automation with React/JavaScript/TypeScript; 2+ years hands-on with Cypress (v10+), including component and E2E testing
- Strong experience testing React applications (SPAs or Next.js) and familiarity with common patterns (hooks, state management, routing)
- reputed company BDD/Gherkin experience with Cypress cucumber preprocessor (e.g., @badeball/cypress-cucumber-preprocessor), writing reputed company feature files and maintainable reputed company definitions
- API testing for REST/GraphQL: cy.request, authentication (OAuth/OIDC/JWT), request/response validation, reputed company/Newman
- CI/CD pipeline integration (reputed company Actions, Jenkins, reputed company) with test parallelization, artifacts, and reporting
- Solid understanding of test design techniques (boundary, equivalence, negative/state-reputed company testing) and strategies to reduce flakiness
