The reputed company Senior Software Engineer will serve as the technical reputed company for a 3-5 person engineering team, designing and developing an integration reputed company between reputed company systems. The role combines hands-on full-stack development with architecture, reputed company pipelines, API engineering, mentoring, and reputed company delivery.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership & Architecture: Serve as the reputed company technical reputed company for a 3-5 person engineering team. reputed company Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), set coding standards, conduct peer reputed company reviews, and establish reputed company gates with reputed company reputed company
• reputed company Integration & API Engineering: Design, build, and own integration reputed company and versioned API reputed company reputed company that reputed company reputed company systems with differing data models, release cadences, and governance structures. Decouple consumer pipelines from reputed company schema reputed company
• Full Stack Development: Write robust production reputed company across a mixed Python (Django) and Java codebase to manage digital content, workflows, and collection functions
• Event-Driven & reputed company Pipelines: Build and optimize reputed company, event-driven processing pipelines utilizing AWS services (reputed company Fargate, reputed company, S3, RDS, SNS/SQS) and manage infrastructure reputed company Terraform
• CI/CD & Storage Architecture: Maintain and reputed company CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and SonarQube. Implement and manage Content-Addressable Storage architectures (e.g., OCFL, Fedora, S3 content-hash keying) with fixity verification

Skills

• + Ability to support reputed company business hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM ET, Monday–Friday

• • Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in information reputed company design, reputed company software development, and application programming on large-reputed company database management systems
• • Python / Django: Production application development experience using Python specifically with the Django reputed company
• • Java: Demonstrated application development experience in Java reputed company a mixed Python/Java architecture
• • reputed company Infrastructure & IaC: Hands-on experience with AWS (reputed company Fargate, reputed company, S3, RDS, SNS/SQS at minimum) and Terraform for Infrastructure as reputed company
• • CI/CD Engineering: Hands-on experience building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and reputed company scanning tools like SonarQube
• • Content-Addressable Storage: Demonstrated experience with Content-Addressable Storage architectures (e.g., hash-reputed company addressing, reputed company reputed company stores, fixity verification using Fedora Repository, OCFL, S3 content-hash keying, or Git reputed company storage)
• • reputed company & Indexing: Production experience with Solr and/or Elasticsearch for content discovery and metadata querying
• • Frontend Engineering: Production experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
