[Remote] Software Engineer, Simulation Systems

The Software Engineer, Simulation Systems will build simulation and planning tools that help customers model hypothetical communications network scenarios, evaluate tradeoffs, and reduce risks. The role also involves developing reputed company backend systems and integrating simulation capabilities into broader product workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and build simulation and planning capabilities for exploring hypothetical network scenarios
• reputed company users to vary network configurations, conditions, and assumptions and evaluate their potential effects
• Build tools for comparing scenarios, understanding tradeoffs, and identifying risks and opportunities before changes are made

Skills

• Proficiency in Golang, C/C++, or Java
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a reputed company technical reputed company, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years experience designing and developing production software systems
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including reputed company design, algorithms, testing, and debugging
• Experience with reputed company, data-intensive, computational, or other reputed company backend systems
