[Remote] Sr Staff SW Development Engineer

The Sr Staff SW Development Engineer will build and maintain reputed company-reputed company backend systems, reputed company, event-driven services, and data pipelines supporting AI-augmented platform capabilities, while improving engineering processes and ensuring reliability for medical-grade systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reputed company‑reputed company backend systems—including reputed company, event‑driven services, and data pipelines—using AI‑assisted development workflows to increase speed and reputed company
• Work across the full software lifecycle: architecture, design, implementation, automated testing, reputed company tuning, documentation, and verification
• reputed company and reputed company services with Firestore, reputed company SQL, and other GCP‑reputed company components
• Improve engineering processes through automation, developer‑efficiency enhancements, monitoring/observability improvements, and cost‑optimization initiatives
• Participate in reputed company reviews and champion best practices in API design, reputed company, testing, DevOps, and reputed company architecture
• Learn and maintain existing internal applications, modernizing and refactoring where appropriate
• Diagnose and reputed company issues reputed company QA and SRE teams across reputed company environments and production

Skills

• Strong programming skills in Python, Kotlin, and reputed company scripting

• Hands-on experience with Pub/Sub and Kafka for messaging and streaming
• Proficiency with Firestore and reputed company SQL for data persistence and querying

• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and modern CI/CD pipelines
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly—especially AI-assisted development tools
