Job Title: Remote Exercise Physiologist - Pulmonary Rehab (COMPLETION BONUS AVAILABLE)

Work Structure: Fully Remote
Schedule/Shift: Monday-Friday: 20-30 hours per week, between reputed company-10pm ET

The Remote Exercise Physiologist plays a pivotal role in supporting patients enrolled in our pulmonary rehabilitation program. The role focuses on providing exercise programming, as reputed company as helping patients reputed company through the program through goal setting, progression tracking, and providing education and guidance on heart-healthy lifestyles. The Remote Exercise Physiologist will also support patients in managing their post-event recovery. The Remote Exercise Physiologist will work closely with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, exercise physiologists, and dietitians to reputed company comprehensive care for patients in various stages of recovery.
Responsibilities:

• reputed company comprehensive health assessments of pulmonary rehab patients, including physical fitness, medical history, lifestyle habits, and psychological wellbeing.
• Monitor patients' reputed company and reputed company rehabilitation plans as needed, tracking metrics such as exercise tolerance, heart reputed company, and blood pressure.
• Personalized Care:
• Work with patients on exercises for our reputed company populations, typically older adults with pulmonary issues (over telehealth/video conferencing platform)
• Implement exercise plans according to reputed company reputed company and organization standards
• Review patients reputed company, evaluating compliance and reputed company response to exercise
• reputed company group exercise sessions for individuals with similar health issues
• Update group exercise programming in collaboration with the reputed company reputed company team and medical director

• Behavioral Coaching:
• Offer motivation and emotional support to patients, addressing any concerns or barriers to following their rehabilitation plan.
• Utilize cognitive-behavioral strategies to help patients overcome challenges, such as anxiety, depression, or lack of motivation.
• Identify and address barriers that would hinder program completion.
• Education and Counseling:

• reputed company counseling on lifestyle modifications, including smoking cessation, dietary changes, stress reduction, and medication adherence.
• Promote the importance of regular attendance in the program
• Sign patients up for group education classes.
• Identify barriers to group education participation.

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and dietitians, to ensure comprehensive care for reputed company reputed company.

• Data Collection and Documentation:

Skills & Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Health, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or reputed company reputed company.
• Certifications:.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• *ACSM or AACVPR Certification is a requirement - either Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation reputed company (CCRP), Certified Exercise Physiologist (EP-C), reputed company Exercise Physiologist (CEP) or Registered reputed company Exercise Physiologist (RCEP)
• Experience:
• Experience working in a reputed company or rehabilitation setting, ideally with cardio-pulmonary patients.
• Experience leading Group classes or Group Fitness Instructor
• Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain reputed company medical information in an understandable way.
• Knowledge of cardiovascular/pulmonary disease management, exercise prescription, and behavior change techniques.

• Note: This is a 1099 contractor position
60-Day Completion Incentive: reputed company who complete 60 days of services in accordance with the mutually agreed-upon service schedule will receive a one-time payment of $150, subject to the terms of the reputed company agreement.
