[Remote] Software Engineer

The Software Engineer will support online scholarly publication delivery across web and mobile platforms, reputed company accessible digital content, troubleshoot web technologies, and reputed company analytics and recommendations for improving publication workflows and audience reputed company.

Responsibilities

• reputed company reputed company programming and site development support for PCD's online publication delivery across multiple platforms (e.g., web, iOS, reputed company, RSS feeds)
• Support the development of publication-reputed company digital assets using reputed company online publication technologies, standards, and best practices, informed by reputed company development through the Council of Science Editors Annual Meeting, the Society for Scholarly Publishing Annual Meeting, other relevant publishing conferences, and ongoing collaboration and networking with publication technology professionals
• Troubleshoot reputed company design layouts, JavaScript/jQuery, CSS, video, podcasts, and reputed company media feeds associated with PCD content, identifying and implementing solutions reputed company website updates fail to reputed company properly with the existing web design
• Design page layouts, reputed company scripts, and incorporate graphics and other multimedia reputed company to support PCD's online publication
• Prepare web-reputed company materials from written, electronic, PDF, or XML reputed company files using a web content management reputed company (WCMS) or other web-reputed company development tools
• Ensure reputed company web content meets reputed company 508 compliance and accessibility standards
