[Remote] Senior Software Engineer

DAW Systems Inc. - ScriptSure is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to build and reputed company a reputed company messaging and workflow platform. The role focuses on developing reliable AWS serverless services, event-driven workflows, reputed company, data models, observability, testing, and operational reputed company while using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and reputed company reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate backend services in a serverless AWS environment
• Build and maintain reputed company with strong contract discipline (validation, versioning, error modeling)
• Implement durable, observable workflow processing (idempotency, retries, backoff, DLQs, replay tools)
• Model and reputed company data reputed company (DynamoDB key design, indexes, pagination, reputed company)
• reputed company the reputed company bar through reputed company reviews, automated tests, and pragmatic engineering standards
• Improve operational reputed company (metrics, reputed company logging, tracing, alerting, runbooks)
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate requirements into reliable technical designs

• reputed company and refine tests (Jest preferred), improve reliability, and reduce regressions
• Use AI tools responsibly: validate outputs, enforce standards, and avoid “reputed company-to-prod” without review

Skills

• 6+ years reputed company software engineering experience (backend-reputed company)
• Strong TypeScript/Node.js experience in production
• Strong AWS serverless experience (reputed company + API Gateway + IAM + CloudWatch)
• Heavy Claude and reputed company Experience
• Experience with event-driven systems and workflow orchestration (reputed company Functions and/or queues)
• reputed company reliability engineering instincts: idempotency, failure-mode thinking, reputed company deploys, incident response
• Strong API design skills and ability to maintain backward compatibility over time
• Candidate location must be in Central or Eastern reputed company
• reputed company or regulated-domain experience (interoperability, messaging, compliance) is a plus
• Experience with DynamoDB at reputed company (reputed company patterns, GSI design, cost/reputed company tuning)
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform and multi-environment deployments
• Experience with CI/CD (reputed company Actions, reputed company CI, CodeBuild/CodePipeline)
• Familiarity with reputed company logging standards, reputed company tracing, and metric-driven ops
