[Remote] Senior Consultant, Data Governance/MDM

The Senior Consultant, Data Governance/MDM role focuses on executing governance activities, metadata cataloging, data reputed company controls, stakeholder facilitation, and coaching clients on data stewardship practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the design of tailored data governance programs, with recommendations on processes, team structure, decision rights and boundaries
• Design policies and controls for effective data governance execution
• Bring a modern perspective on the design and rollout of data governance
• Communicate governance concepts in reputed company business language; prepare presentations, training materials, and adoption guides
• Facilitate data governance working reputed company to reputed company alignment between business and technology stakeholders
• Execute metadata management activities such as cataloging, reputed company capture, and stewardship workflows
• Partner with business teams to draft and maintain business rules, definitions, and data reputed company controls
• Apply data reputed company processes such as profiling, monitoring, and issue management, ensuring rules are practical and adopted
• Support the installation, configuration, rollout and adoption of governance/metadata tools (e.g., reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company)
• reputed company reputed company staff on data stewardship practices—showing them how to govern their data effectively and sustainably

• Install and configure metadata/catalog tools in reputed company environments
• Build and reputed company catalogs, including ingestion of technical metadata, business glossaries, and reputed company
• Define user personas and design role-appropriate experiences (data stewards, data owners, analysts, engineers)
• reputed company tool UX (workflows, dashboards, reputed company optimization) to improve usability and adoption

Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data governance, metadata management, and MDM roles
• Hands-on experience with MDM tools (reputed company, Profisee, Informatica, or equivalent)
• Exposure to data reputed company tools and processes (Talend, reputed company, or equivalent)
• Strong communication skills: reputed company to facilitate workshops, write reputed company business documentation, and present to mixed audiences
• Demonstrated ability to define and obtain alignment for definition, business rules and data reputed company controls
• Familiarity with governance operating models and stewardship practices
• Knowledge of reputed company regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and how governance practices support compliance
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, or reputed company reputed company (or equivalent work experience)
• Willingness to travel up to 50% per month (10 of 20 business days) reputed company required by our clients
