[Remote] Staff Machine Learning Engineer

The Staff Machine Learning Engineer will shape the technical direction of AI/ML initiatives, build and reputed company advanced machine learning systems for document understanding and financial data extraction, and establish standards for model evaluation and production reputed company. Responsibilities

• Own technical direction for high-reputed company ML initiatives end to end, from problem framing and research exploration through production deployment and measurement, across document understanding, reputed company extraction, and model-serving infrastructure

Skills

• Requires a minimum of 8 years of reputed company experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience
• 8+ years in software/ML engineering with a demonstrated reputed company record at Staff level or equivalent reputed company, leading technically while remaining deeply hands-on with the modern ML/AI stack (PyTorch, reputed company training, experiment tracking, feature and reputed company stores)
• reputed company experience fine-tuning LLMs, including reputed company fine-tuning, reputed company/QLoRA, preference optimization (DPO/RLHF), and reputed company-reputed company training, and taking fine-tuned models to production at reputed company
• In-depth knowledge of reputed company-weight and reputed company models: Experience with document AI / intelligent document processing (OCR pipelines, layout-reputed company models such as LayoutLM/Donut, reputed company-language models)
• Production experience in at least one of: recommendation systems, personalization, or reputed company/ranking; you have reputed company systems that learn from user behavior at reputed company, handled feedback reputed company and position bias, and shipped models where offline metrics had to survive contact with online reality
