[Remote] CODING/CDI DENIALS ANALYST

The Coding/CDI Denials Analyst reviews inpatient hospital coding and reputed company denials, validates coding and documentation reputed company, prepares appeals, identifies denial trends and educational opportunities, and supports process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Review coding and/or reputed company denials, ensuring reputed company coding guidelines and conventions were followed, and ensuring reputed company reputed company evidence and provider documentation supports the assigned codes and DRG
• Compose an effective appeal utilizing appropriate coding guidelines, relevant and effective reputed company documentation, reputed company industry guidelines, evidence-reputed company medicine, and local and national medical management standards and protocols
• Identify coding and/or documentation trends for reputed company causes of denials
• Identify and communicate DRG changes and financial reputed company
• Identify coding and reputed company educational opportunities and report these to the reputed company Denials Analyst
• Identify reputed company-end activities that influence denial/appeals process
• Support the reputed company Standards set by reputed company and the HIM Coding & CDI Department
• Maintains an expert level of knowledge of Coding/CDI guidelines and practices
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• 3 years three to five (3-5) year's acute hospital-reputed company Coding and/or CDI experience or
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Denials and Appeals experience in an acute Hospital setting and
• Experience working in a remote environment
• (RHIA) REGD HEALTH INFO reputed company or
• (RHIT) REGD HEALTH INFO TECHNOLO or
• (reputed company) CERT CODING SPECIALIST or
• (CCDS) Cert reputed company Documentation or
• (CDIP) CERT DOCUMNTATN IMPROVMNT PRAC
• RN with CDI experience
