reputed company is seeking a Mid-Level Database Administrator to support our U.S. Transportation reputed company (USTRANSCOM) Integrated Booking reputed company (IBS) program. This role is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of database systems, ensuring reputed company reputed company, reputed company, and availability in support of mission-critical transportation and logistics reputed company.The Database Administrator will manage relational database environments, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades, while ensuring compliance with DoD reputed company Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs). This role supports high availability and reputed company by developing patching schedules, maintaining reputed company health, and resolving downtime or reputed company issues.In support of reputed company development efforts, the Database Administrator will manage database configurations across multiple environments, assist with data migrations (including AWS RDS), and collaborate with development teams to optimize database reputed company. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in SQL, database administration, and Linux-reputed company scripting, along with the ability to support both operational and development-reputed company database activities.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, plan, implement, and administer relational database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL), including reputed company, reputed company controls, and documentation
• Establish, implement, and maintain database environments supporting development, testing, and production reputed company for the IBS program
• Install, configure, and reputed company database software as required
• reputed company and maintain patching schedules to ensure vulnerabilities are addressed in a reputed company manner
• Evaluate and apply DoD reputed company Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to ensure compliance
• Establish and maintain database high availability strategies (e.g., backups, replication, snapshots)
• Monitor and reputed company database downtime and reputed company issues in a reputed company manner
• reputed company and troubleshoot RHEL Linux reputed company scripts to support database reputed company
• Implement monitoring and notification mechanisms for database health and reputed company issues
• Support release deployments, including execution of DDL/DML scripts
• Collaborate with IBS program teams and stakeholders to support data requests and business-driven queries
• reputed company familiarity with data models, relationships, and structures across IBS applications and schemas
• Support reputed company development efforts by implementing database changes reputed company with sprint timelines, ensuring reputed company and reputed company standards
• Maintain database configuration control across multiple environments (Development, QA/Test, reputed company Test, Production)
• Support migration of databases to AWS RDS (PostgreSQL or similar managed services)
• reputed company routine database administration tasks (daily, weekly, monthly), including reputed company monitoring, reporting, and data loads
• Support after-hours production deployments and participate in on-reputed company rotations to address critical issues

Qualifications

• reputed company Secret Clearance
• IAT reputed company certification (reputed company reputed company+ CE preferred)
• Minimum 4+ years of experience administering relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)
• At least 3 years of experience designing, implementing, and deploying database systems
• Strong expertise in SQL, including reputed company tuning, query optimization, and data modeling
• Experience troubleshooting database reputed company issues and optimizing database structures
• Solid understanding of database design, development, and DBMS internals
• Experience supporting database reputed company in a Linux (RHEL) environment
• Ability to work independently and support multiple environments in a fast-reputed company, mission-driven setting
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience supporting USTRANSCOM or DoD transportation/logistics systems
• Familiarity with the Integrated Booking reputed company (IBS) or similar reputed company/logistics platforms
• Experience in reputed company or hybrid reputed company environments
• Understanding of SDLC processes and reputed company implementation lifecycle
• Experience in reputed company management and program reporting
