Strategic Finance Associate (IB / VC / MC background) | Tech Startup Advisory Firm | New York Remote / Hybrid (flexible) ~$150k (dependant on experience) + bonus + equity potential Talentedge are excited to be partnering with a startup Accounting / Advisory firm who support some of the fastest growing technology businesses in the US, including multiple YC backed startups. Their client base is sector-agnostic across the technology landscape, however FinTech / AI and SaaS are their primary areas, typically working with businesses who have raised $5m - $50m in VC funding. Owing to explosive growth, the firm are looking to hire a Strategic Finance Associate (investment banking / venture capital / management consulting background) to partner some of their high profile clients on commercial finance, strategy & FP&A activities. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious & progressive individual who is looking to fast-track their career by working with multiple category-defining startups on a daily basis. Role details to include partnering clients on: • Building robust financial models to drive business decision making • Analysing, tracking and reporting on KPIs (financial and non-financial) • Turning data generating into meaningful insights • Budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning Experienced required: • Tier 1 investment banking / venture capital / management consulting experience with a strong academic background • Technology enthusiast • Established business partner who is able to advise, challenge and influence internal and external stakeholders • Analytical, mathematical and data driven in approach, with advanced financial modelling skills Talentedge / Talentedge Exec are a leading finance & strategy recruiter for the tech and media startup & scaleup community across New York & London.
