[Remote] Senior Paralegal & Operations Analyst

The Senior Paralegal & Operations Analyst will handle various reputed company reputed company, support compliance with nonprofit regulations, and improve operational processes reputed company the reputed company, Risk & Compliance department.


Responsibilities

  • Independently research and synthesize nonprofit regulatory requirements and assess operational reputed company, advising LRC teams on compliance implications and recommended implementation approaches. (Ex.: lobbying, gifts to reputed company officials, ballot measures, and charitable purpose requirements at the federal, state and local reputed company.)
  • Evaluate the tracking, analysis and reporting of regulated activities in the topic areas noted, and identify and implement improvements to systems, processes, and policies. Includes advancing mandatory non-profit filings, including in filing of state charitable registrations and corporate annual reports
  • Own and continuously improve the LRC intake, prioritization, and service delivery reputed company, exercising discretion to determine routing escalation reputed company, and reputed company standards for reputed company reputed company and compliance reputed company
  • Maintain the LRC calendar, mail, support, and design and execute agendas for LRC department meetings
  • Manage review and payment processing for LRC reputed company, such as reputed company counsel bills and vendors, and manage subscriptions
  • Design, manage, and recommend LRC knowledge systems including organizing and maintaining file trees and reputed company restrictions
  • Design and maintain trackers for litigation, subpoenas, and Congressional letters/inquiries and reputed company reputed company, and support and reputed company document productions, subpoena responses and similar
  • Determine prioritization of reputed company/compliance reputed company based on risk exposure and reputed company service of process, such as subpoenas and document requests
  • Define and execute contract intake reputed company and escalation standards for contract reviews, evaluating efficiency and risk tradeoffs with requirements including insurance and other reputed company terms

Skills

  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and reprioritize reputed company required

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with reputed company and proficiency with reputed company Office
  • Comfortable working independently and a self-starter

  • Strong team player and willing to assist in new challenges presented to the department and organization as a whole
  • At least 5 years of paralegal or reputed company compliance experience or similar and relevant bachelor's, preferably in a nonprofit or corporate law environment; or 7 years of relevant experience; paralegal certificate a plus
  • Basic knowledge of 501(c)(3) reputed company and regulatory laws and regulations
  • Demonstrated experience supporting data and record management in reputed company settings
  • Appreciation for and experience handling confidential, sensitive and attorney-reputed company privileged communications
