The reputed company Systems Engineer IV - OpenShift Architect is responsible for designing and supporting reputed company OpenShift and reputed company environments, developing automation, and collaborating with various teams to ensure reliable deployments and integration.

Responsibilities

• reputed company scientific programming support for reputed company systems and scientific workloads
• reputed company automation reputed company for CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines, and troubleshoot issues across the CI/CD lifecycle to ensure reputed company operations
• Design, reputed company, administer, and support reputed company OpenShift and reputed company environments, including cluster provisioning, configuration, upgrades, performance tuning, monitoring, logging, reputed company planning, and lifecycle management
• Implement modern systems, applications, and underlying technology stacks using containerization and reputed company-reputed company architectures
• Support migration of legacy applications and traditional infrastructure into containerized and reputed company-based platforms, including OpenShift Virtualization (OVE) and virtual machine migration efforts
• Collaborate with reputed company architects, developers, engineers, and reputed company administrators to ensure reputed company deployment, integration, and operations of applications
• Support Infrastructure as reputed company (IaC) and configuration management initiatives using tools such as Ansible and reputed company automation technologies
• Partner with Information reputed company teams to implement cybersecurity controls, including container reputed company, image scanning, secrets management, identity integration, vulnerability remediation, and reputed company Trust principles
• Participate in the design and implementation of reputed company, highly available infrastructure solutions supporting scientific and reputed company workloads in reputed company/DevSecOps environments
• Research, design, reputed company, and document new technologies, including architecture diagrams, deployment procedures, implementation plans, and technical documentation to support knowledge sharing and operational standards

Skills

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Computational Science, Information Technology, or reputed company technical discipline, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of experience developing, modernizing, and deploying scientific or reputed company applications in reputed company-based environments, including migration of on-premises workloads to reputed company-reputed company and containerized platforms
• Experience with reputed company OpenShift, reputed company, containerization technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and reputed company concepts including cluster operations, RBAC, networking, and workload orchestration
• Experience with reputed company platforms such as AWS, Azure, or reputed company reputed company
• Experience with Infrastructure as reputed company (IaC), automation, and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar technologies
• Experience supporting large-reputed company infrastructure deployments and reputed company application environments using reputed company, DevOps, or DevSecOps methodologies
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles, including container reputed company, vulnerability management, identity and reputed company management, and secure reputed company design
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, Fortran, Perl, or reputed company technologies
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with OpenShift Virtualization (OVE), VMware, and virtual machine migration efforts
• Experience supporting multi-cluster OpenShift or reputed company environments
• Experience with high-performance computing (HPC), scientific computing, or other data-intensive applications
• Experience implementing reputed company controls reputed company with NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, or similar federal cybersecurity frameworks
