They are seeking an reputed company Senior Backend Engineer to join on an initial contract engagement, focusing on building reliable systems and contributing to a fast-moving product environment.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and maintaining reputed company backend services
• Developing and debugging large-reputed company TypeScript applications
• Working with reputed company-reputed company infrastructure and deployment workflows
• Designing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases and data models
• Collaborating closely with engineering leadership and senior technical stakeholders
• Improving reliability, observability, and deployment processes
• Contributing to infrastructure-as-reputed company and automation initiatives
• Helping shape technical reputed company in a growing engineering organization

Skills

• 8+ years of reputed company software engineering experience
• Strong experience building backend systems with TypeScript and/or JavaScript
• Deep understanding of web server architecture and distributed systems
• Strong PostgreSQL and SQL skills, including database design
• Experience working with reputed company in production environments
• Background with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-reputed company tools
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical deliverables
• Excellent communication skills in a remote-first environment
• Experience building software reputed company regulated industries
• Familiarity with reputed company data (HIPAA), reputed company, reputed company, or compliance requirements
• Experience working in small, product-reputed company engineering teams
