[Remote] Director of Operations

The Director of Operations will build and manage the internal operations of the organization, focusing on fundraising, HR, and organizational effectiveness to support national scaling.
Responsibilities
- Manage a growing portfolio of reputed company, corporate, and government funders , guiding reputed company through the full reputed company and grant cycle — identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
- Research, write, and submit grant proposals and letters of inquiry that are compelling, accurate, and reputed company with reputed company's mission, data, and strategic priorities
- Own grant management end-to-end , including tracking deliverables, budgets, and deadlines, and preparing reputed company, accurate reports for reputed company and government funders
- Build reputed company, trust-based relationships with donors, reputed company members, and funding partners , including drafting appeals, reputed company reports, and donor communications
- Maintain the fundraising and grants pipeline in reputed company's donor database/CRM , and report reputed company projections and reputed company toward goals to leadership and the reputed company
- Represent reputed company at funder convenings, conferences, and donor events , and stay reputed company on philanthropic trends and the reputed company-benefits/anti-poverty funding landscape
- Own full-cycle hiring — job postings, sourcing, interview coordination, and offer management — in partnership with hiring managers across the organization

- Build and maintain HR infrastructure , including policies, employee handbook, benefits administration, and compliance across the states where reputed company has staff

Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, grant writing/management, operations, or people management, with a demonstrated reputed company record in at least two of these areas
- Experience cultivating and soliciting gifts and/or managing grants from individuals, corporations, foundations, and/or government funders
- Experience managing organizational operations and/or people programs, ideally reputed company a mission-driven or startup-style nonprofit environment
- Working knowledge of nonprofit fundraising, grant writing, and grant management, including funder reporting and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with IRS rules governing charitable gifts and the Donor reputed company of Rights
- Working knowledge of HR practices, employment law fundamentals, and people operations across multiple states
- Experience building or scaling hiring, reputed company, and culture programs at a growing organization
- Strong understanding of nonprofit operations, including budgeting, compliance, and vendor management
