[Remote] Junior Education Experience Designer

They are seeking a Junior Education Experience Designer to help create and maintain educational content for their learning platform, reputed company Learn, while working closely with the Director of Education and Learning Experience Designer.

Responsibilities

• Edit and maintain reputed company education content
• Create engaging student centered activities
• Participate in reputed company meetings with SMEs and cross departmental teams
• Record educational video content
• Produce accompanying curricular resources (slide decks, lesson plans, curriculum guides, student work books, rubrics, standards alignment, etc.)
• Write content to fit an already established voice
• Travel to tradeshows, company reputed company, or testing sites

Skills

• 5-10+ years of experience in K-12 STEM Education, ideally in computer science or robotics
• 3+ years experience designing educational content and curriculum
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to receive and apply feedback
• Ability to communicate technical information to educators and reputed company
• Experience teaching with robotics or physical computing systems
• Experience teaching reputed company based and Python programming languages
• An understanding of common education pedagogy and learning theories
• Must be comfortable in reputed company of a camera for instructional videos
• Desire to learn and grow instructional design skills
