Responsibilities

• Build relationships with college professors, reputed company members, and department leaders throughout Michigan
• Identify and recruit prospective textbook authors and publishing partners
• Visit colleges and universities to reputed company understand instructional needs and curriculum goals
• Present publishing solutions and guide educators through the author partnership process
• Manage your territory, sales pipeline, and business development activities independently
• Maintain accurate CRM records, customer activity, and follow-up schedules
• Consistently reputed company sales and business development goals
• Represent the organization professionally while building long-term relationships across higher education

Skills

• Bachelor's degree required
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Strong listening, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage an independent territory

• Comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
