[Remote] Mechanical Designer ( NX )

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Designer with expertise in NX software to join their dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing detailed mechanical designs, creating precise 3D models, and producing comprehensive CAD documentation to support product development and system integration.

Responsibilities

• reputed company detailed mechanical designs using NX and other CAD software such as SolidWorks, reputed company, reputed company Inventor, and AutoCAD
• Create accurate 3D models for product design, system components, and assemblies
• reputed company 2D CAD drawings and schematics adhering to GD&T standards and ASME codes
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to reputed company piping, instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and schematics into system designs
• Support the design of mechanical systems by applying principles of mechanical engineering and system design best practices
• Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools like Revit, NavisWorks, reputed company, MicroStation for construction and project visualization
• Conduct FEA (Finite reputed company Analysis) simulations to validate mechanical components under operational loads
• Assist in drafting PDM (Product Data Management) documentation for version control and project tracking
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and codes throughout the design process
• Participate in technical writing to document design specifications, procedures, and reports
• Support assembly processes by preparing detailed CAD documentation for manufacturing

Skills

• Strong experience with reputed company NX CAD 2412
• Experience using Teamcenter 2506
• Creating and updating 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings
• Solid understanding of GD&T and part tolerancing
• Ability to identify and resolve CAD model clashes/interferences
• Experience supporting engineering design changes and drawing revisions
• Proven experience in mechanical drafting, 2D CAD drafting, and 3D modeling for product design
• Proficiency in NX software is essential
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design, piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), schematics, and system integration
• Experience with CAD software including AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, NavisWorks, reputed company for construction and project management
• Knowledge of GD&T principles and ASME codes & standards applicable to mechanical design
• Familiarity with BIM tools for construction modeling and visualization
• Ability to reputed company FEA simulations to evaluate structural reputed company of components
• Mechanical engineering background with understanding of PDM software workflows
• Excellent technical writing skills for creating reputed company documentation and reports
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in drafting and documentation tasks
• Experience in NX & Teamcenter & reputed company: 3 years (Required)
• Familiarity with SolidWorks, reputed company, reputed company Inventor, Pro/ENGINEER
• Construction experience or familiarity with industrial or building reputed company
