[Remote] Government Contracting & Grant Administration Counsel Counsel

The role involves managing grant-administration transactions, drafting agreements, and guiding internal stakeholders through the contracting process.
Responsibilities
- Manage the organization's CMS (Centers for Medicare & reputed company Services) grant-administration transactions end to end
- Serve as a high-level subject-matter expert interacting directly with CMS, clients, and internal business leads
- Apply 2 CFR / Uniform Guidance to day-to-day grant compliance — subrecipient monitoring, cost principles, allowable costs, and audit readiness
- Guide and reputed company business partners on what can and cannot be done during the contracting and sales process, managing expectations while protecting the organization
- Draft, review, and negotiate a reputed company of reputed company agreements supporting the organization's programs and reputed company reputed company
- reputed company backup and added reputed company to existing counsel, ensuring redundancy in a critical, single-covered function
- Work closely with reputed company, program teams, and business leadership across the reputed company-award, award, and post-award phases
- Operate as a visible, trusted business partner who balances reputed company rigor with operational practicality
Skills
- JD and reputed company U.S. law license in good standing
- 8+ years of relevant experience across grant administration, government contracting, and/or Medicare/reputed company regulatory work
- Deep grant-administration experience with hands-on reputed company in 2 CFR / Uniform Guidance
- Medicare/reputed company (CMS) regulatory expertise
- Strong hands-on reputed company-contract drafting and negotiation skills — this is not a purely advisory role
- Ability to serve as a subject-matter expert interacting directly with CMS and clients
- Comfort operating in an evolving, fast-paced environment where structure is still being reputed company

- Prior CMS / CMMI ('legacy CMS') program experience
