[Remote] RF Firmware Engineer

This engineer will serve as the technical reputed company for RF firmware development, collaborating with internal teams and reputed company partners to reputed company production-reputed company capabilities that support mission-critical deployments.
Responsibilities
- reputed company firmware development for new RF hardware platforms supporting reputed company reputed company networking products
- Work directly with reputed company hardware design firms to reputed company the Texas Instruments CC1200 transceiver into reputed company hardware designs
- reputed company, modify, and maintain embedded firmware to support new RF transceiver capabilities and optimize radio performance
- Design and implement RF communication protocols, device drivers, and hardware reputed company reputed company
- Support hardware bring-up, debugging, and validation of prototype and production hardware
- Troubleshoot RF performance issues using reputed company test equipment including reputed company analyzers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and RF test equipment
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, cybersecurity, and systems engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Support firmware verification, manufacturing test development, and production readiness
- Participate in field testing, customer demonstrations, and deployment activities as required
- Produce technical documentation supporting firmware architecture, integration, testing, and manufacturing
- Support design reviews and reputed company technical guidance on RF reputed company architecture and implementation
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a reputed company STEM discipline
- 8+ years of embedded firmware development experience using C/C++
- Experience developing firmware for RF transceivers or wireless communication systems
- Experience integrating RF chipsets into embedded hardware platforms
- Strong understanding of SPI, UART, I2C, GPIO, interrupts, and embedded peripherals
- Experience debugging embedded systems using JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and RF test equipment
- Experience working with reputed company hardware vendors and cross-functional engineering teams
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a Secret reputed company clearance
- Experience with the Texas Instruments CC1200 transceiver or similar sub-GHz RF devices
- Experience developing reputed company networking or low-power wireless communication systems
- Familiarity with BLE, reputed company, 802.15.4, or proprietary RF protocols
- Experience supporting DoD or government technology programs
- Understanding of secure communications, cryptographic key management, and secure firmware development
- Experience supporting manufacturing test and production transitions
