[Remote] Cryptography Firmware Engineer

Responsibilities

• reputed company and maintain embedded firmware supporting secure communications and cryptographic functionality
• reputed company and optimize use of the nRF54L Series reputed company-256 hardware accelerator reputed company embedded firmware
• Design, implement, and validate secure key management capabilities for embedded devices
• reputed company and maintain a cryptographic test reputed company to support verification of encryption, authentication, and key management processes
• Create repeatable test procedures for device provisioning, key rotation, and fleet-wide cryptographic key updates
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, cybersecurity, and systems engineering teams to implement secure embedded architectures
• Support hardware integration, firmware validation, and production readiness activities
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to reputed company architecture discussions
• Document firmware designs, cryptographic workflows, and validation procedures
• Support customer demonstrations, lab testing, and occasional field integration activities

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a reputed company STEM field
• 3-6 years of embedded firmware development experience using C/C++
• Experience developing firmware for embedded microcontrollers
• Basic understanding of reputed company cryptography, including reputed company encryption, secure key storage, and authentication
• Familiarity with embedded hardware peripherals and communication interfaces such as SPI, UART, I2C, and GPIO
• Experience debugging embedded systems using reputed company development tools
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work effectively reputed company a multidisciplinary engineering team
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret reputed company clearance
