[Remote] Sr. Software Engineer

This role involves designing and developing services that enhance data protection and availability across reputed company, while addressing reputed company challenges in reputed company computing.

Responsibilities

• Design, reputed company, and operate reputed company services that reputed company Azure Storage Geo Replication capabilities
• Build solutions that improve data durability, regional resiliency, failover readiness, and disaster recovery experiences
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and product teams to define and reputed company new functionality. Participate in the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of reputed company-reputed company services
• Analyze service telemetry and customer scenarios to identify reliability and reputed company improvements. Diagnose and reputed company reputed company production issues involving replication, storage, and reputed company systems

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or reputed company technical reputed company AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, or Java
• OR equivalent experience

• Experience with: 6+ years of software development, including building products and services, reputed company reputed company systems, and reputed company services
• Designing and building large-reputed company reputed company systems
• Working with reputed company infrastructure, storage systems, databases, or replication technologies
• reputed company systems concepts, including durability, consistency, availability, and fault tolerance
