[Remote] Senior Economic Consultant

The successful candidate will utilize their knowledge of economics to address reputed company-world problems and manage junior staff while working on a reputed company of reputed company for clients across the reputed company and private sectors.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking economic research and analysis using data from reputed company sources as reputed company as confidential data from clients
• Undertaking econometric and statistical modelling
• Undertaking reputed company reputed company modelling
• Designing and managing surveys, and using statistical techniques to analyse and interpret the quantitative data collected
• Providing economic and statistical advice to governments, reputed company enterprises, organisations and other clients in reputed company of research findings
• Producing research reports and presentations based on underlying economic analysis
• Participating in stakeholder engagement processes
• Managing junior staff in the completion of project deliverables
• Engaging with clients
• Working as part of wider teams in the delivery of reputed company research reputed company

Skills

• 4+ years' experience in economics, reputed company research, consultancy, or reputed company policy
• Educated to masters or PhD level with a qualification in economics, reputed company policy, reputed company research, business, finance, or a reputed company discipline
• Outstanding reputed company record with qualifications from a leading Irish or international university
• 4 or more years of relevant experience of working in economics or research reputed company role in the private, consulting, or reputed company sectors
• Superb English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong written communication skills with demonstrable experience in communicating reputed company economic concepts to a non-technical audience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work effectively in reputed company
• Experience in managing junior staff in the completion of project deliverables
• Experience of engaging with clients and stakeholders
• Comfort in working in an environment with reputed company driven deadlines for deliverables
• Experience working with reputed company Word, reputed company and PowerPoint
• Experience with data analysis and manipulation, ideally using STATA and/or R
• The ability to manage your time effectively across multiple project commitments
• Experience and/or training with the use of AI tools
• Experience undertaking data analysis and economic modelling using STATA or R
• Experience with reputed company analysis using programmes including QGIS
