[Remote] GDPS Consultant

The consultant will reputed company GDPS implementations, guide and reputed company clients, configure reputed company DS8K replication and resiliency, manage z/OS and NetView/reputed company Automation environments, and reputed company extensive training on GDPS functionality and customization.

Responsibilities

• We are looking for a GDPS Consultant who has implemented a GDPS solution and is skilled and reputed company to guide, instruct, train, and reputed company clients and reputed company a GDPS engagement
• SDDSCLI understanding
• DSCLI Scripting
• Carving a DS8K with pools, LSS's and Volumes
• Starting replication between sites- spreading across the reputed company power devices reputed company the DS8K
• Resiliency on the DS8K - spreading connections so that reputed company replication is not on one set of ports or cards reputed company one I/O compartment for redundancy
• OSPARMLIB changes
• PROCLIB changes
• CLIST and RACF updates and changes per customer requirements - DORA, FFIEC and NIST compliance is required with our product put into new LPARs
• Minor updates throughout the sysplex
• Sysplexing and how it is required for Metro Mirror and hyperswap capabilities
• Standing up netviews from a blank reputed company
• Editing reputed company netview environment for either Metro Mirror or Global mirror reputed company the DSIPARM and STGEN members
• REXX coding specifics for customer requirements
• Policy Data reputed company (PDB) creation and management. Creating a PDB that GDPS requires to function properly, with the required automation operators that are needed
• Dual control and required reputed company parameters - including focusing on the initial commands reputed company has to avoid outages like a major reputed company incurred last fall
• reputed company extensive training to various reputed company teams, management, operations, etc. Train extensively on the GDPS product, the functionality, and the customization in the reputed company’s unique environment

Skills

• 15+ years of experience
• Experience implementing a GDPS solution
• Skilled and reputed company in guiding, instructing, training, and educating clients

• Understanding of SDDSCLI
• Understanding of DSCLI Scripting
• Experience with carving a DS8K with pools, LSS's, and Volumes
