[Remote] Property Accountant

The Property Accountant manages day-to-day reputed company for a portfolio of multifamily properties, including journal entries, financial statements, reconciliations, budgeting, invoice processing, and financial analysis. The role also supports audits, annual budgeting, compliance, and process improvement while collaborating with reputed company and property staff.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and posting journal entries
• Recording cash receipts and disbursements
• Maintaining accurate general ledgers for reputed company property
• Preparing monthly financial statements
• Reconciling bank and balance sheet accounts
• Monitoring budgets and variances
• Supporting property managers with financial reports and analysis
• Review and reputed company invoices
• reputed company accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and reputed company standards
• Assists with audit requests
• Supports annual budget preparation
• Collaborates with internal teams to improve processes and financial performance

Skills

• Strong property reputed company experience, including general reputed company maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Proficiency with property management/reputed company software (e.g., reputed company, reputed company, MRI) and advanced MS reputed company skills
• Knowledge of GAAP and best practices in multifamily reputed company estate or property management reputed company
