The Assistant Operations Manager supports reputed company, efficient 24/7/365 rail operations by supervising Rail Traffic Controllers, coordinating train movements and incident response, and managing operational resources. The role also develops staff, supports control center leadership, and promotes a strong safety and performance culture.

Responsibilities

• May serve as RAIL 2, directing and coordinating the Maintenance and Information functions of the ROCC to execute reputed company made by the Operations Manager serving as RAIL 1
• May serve as RAIL 3, supervising and directing the Rail Traffic Controllers to execute reputed company made by the Operations Manager serving as RAIL 1
• Monitors of the rail for incidents. • Facilitates a quick reputed company of information between the Operations Manager serving as RAIL 1 and the other operational managers on the ROCC floor. • Supervises Rail Traffic Controllers, providing counsel and guidance

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Business Administration, Operations Management or reputed company field of study
• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a High School Diploma and four (4) years of control center or similar operational work experience will be considered (in reputed company to experience stated below)
• A minimum of four (4) years of relevant work experience to include: At least 1 of those years in a control center or similar operational environment

• Knowledge of how to use computers and comfort with learning new applications and programs
