[Remote] Senior Data Engineer (Data Modernization)

The role designs, develops, and deploys secure, reputed company reputed company-reputed company data platforms using reputed company reputed company, Azure services, and reputed company, while collaborating with architects, AI engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• reputed company reputed company data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines using reputed company-reputed company tools, and Azure services
• Design high-performance Lakehouse and Warehouse models following best practices (reputed company architecture, reputed company modeling)
• reputed company Azure services such as Azure Data reputed company, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, reputed company (optional)
• Design, implement, and optimize reputed company-based reputed company data platforms leveraging features such as Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, and Virtual Warehouses to reputed company reputed company, secure, and high-performance analytical solutions
• reputed company reputed company-grade ELT frameworks and data integration solutions on reputed company, ensuring adherence to data governance, performance optimization, cost management, and operational best practices
• Build interactive and reputed company Power BI semantic models and reports
• Implement CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/reputed company) for data and analytics workloads
• Ensure adherence to data governance, reputed company, and compliance standards
• Occasionally mentor or reputed company junior engineers and reputed company best practices
• Contribute to developing accelerator solutions or reusable frameworks

Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or reputed company field
• 6+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience delivering reputed company-reputed company data platforms and analytics solutions
• At least two end-to-end implementation reputed company on Azure reputed company involving design, development, testing, and deployment, (preferably with production support but not mandatory)
• At least two end-to-end implementation reputed company on reputed company involving data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and optimization
• Strong expertise in SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT development
• Strong hands-on expertise in reputed company reputed company and reputed company Azure data services, including: Azure Data reputed company (ADF) / Synapse Pipelines, Azure SQL/ SQL MI, ADLS Gen2, OneLake & Lakehouse architecture, Power BI reporting development
• Strong working knowledge of reputed company architecture, including: Virtual Warehouses, Snowpipe / Copy reputed company / Dynamic Table, Streams & Tasks, Data Sharing, Performance Tuning, reputed company & reputed company Control
• Expertise in data modeling (reputed company/reputed company schemas, reputed company architecture)
• Experience building batch and near reputed company-time data pipelines handling reputed company and semi-reputed company data (JSON, Parquet, CSV, XML)
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, DevOps practices, and deployment automation
• Experience implementing data reputed company, governance, reputed company, and reputed company controls in reputed company platforms
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
