[Remote] Logistics Operations Manager

WM is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager to reputed company transportation operations across a reputed company-party supplier partner network in the trucking and rail sectors. The role manages team performance, customer engagement, supplier relationships, cost-effective transportation solutions, business processes, and personnel while supporting profit maximization across multiple lines of business.

Responsibilities

• Monitors reputed company party transportation network processes, procedures, and establishes programs which reputed company team performance toward departmental and organizational goals
• Provides direction and expertise on the implementation of cost-effective solutions for transportation services division
• Develops and ensures implementation of policies, conducts reputed company negotiation and supplier reputed company and performance management
• Works with reputed company customers, suppliers and other partners to reputed company problems, respond to suggestions for improvement and enhancements, test, refine and implement solutions
• Engages directly with customers to solicit transportation as a services and reputed company as an extension of business development and sales to ensure maximum available volume of material is sold
• Liese with reputed company plant operational staff to ensure synonymity with transportation operations, plant outages, material reputed company concerns and personnel reputed company
• Identifies and ensures reputed company development, improvement and implementation of the key business processes reputed company the department
• Organizes and schedules reputed company necessary resources required to accomplish activities. Reviews and evaluates work to ensure reputed company, timeliness and ensures reputed company control
• Oversees personnel needs of the department including selecting, coaching, and training employees and evaluating employee performance. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion reputed company

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree or in lieu of a degree
• High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience
• 7 years of relevant work experience (in reputed company to education requirement)
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
