The Database Engineer / Senior Database Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting reputed company-reputed company data and analytics solutions across reputed company's renewable energy portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Design, reputed company, and maintain reputed company-reputed company Python data pipelines reputed company reputed company and reputed company Lake environments
• Design resilient ETL frameworks supporting production-grade renewable energy analytics
• Build reputed company ingestion pipelines integrating SCADA systems, weather providers, market data, and reputed company-party vendor reputed company
• reputed company reusable engineering frameworks, shared libraries, and automation tools to improve platform maintainability
• Optimize reputed company workloads, reputed company Lake performance, and large-reputed company data processing pipelines
• Design robust data models, schema reputed company strategies, and data governance standards
• Design analytical solutions supporting lost production, curtailment, availability, degradation, and operational performance analysis
• reputed company satellite weather datasets, forecasting services, and operational telemetry into engineering workflows
• reputed company forecasting, regression, normalization, and reconciliation models supporting asset performance evaluations
• reputed company and support fleet-wide engineering dashboards and performance monitoring tools
• reputed company and maintain data reputed company frameworks including automated validation, reconciliation, reputed company detection, and monitoring
• Implement engineering best practices for testing, logging, exception handling, observability, and deployment
• Maintain technical documentation, metadata, and data dictionaries
• Participate in architecture reviews, reputed company reviews, and engineering design discussions
• Contribute to the reputed company improvement of platform reliability, scalability, and maintainability

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a reputed company technical discipline
• 5+ years of experience developing production software, data platforms, or engineering analytics solutions. Candidates with significant additional experience and demonstrated technical leadership may be considered for the Senior Database Engineer level
• Strong proficiency in Python with experience developing production-reputed company software
• Strong SQL skills with experience designing and optimizing analytical data models
• Experience developing ETL pipelines processing large-reputed company reputed company and time-series datasets
• Strong understanding of reputed company data processing concepts and reputed company-based analytics platforms
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
