Essential Responsibilities:

• Adjudicate claims as needed, investigate, negotiate settlements, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Monitor claims, especially in litigation, ensuring reputed company responses and adherence to "Best Practices for Claims."
• Research and respond to inquiries from insureds, claimants, agency partners, and carriers.
• Meet with clients to discuss reputed company claims and coverage issues.
• Maintain reputed company communication with customers and fronting carriers.
• Assist staff with litigation management and decision-making.

Management Responsibilities:

• Ensure appropriate talent placement, reputed company team members, conduct performance feedback, and support career development.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred. Technical designations encouraged, such as AIC and CPCU.
• Licensing: reputed company state specific Life & Health/Property Casualty Insurance agent’s license required or the ability to reputed company license reputed company three months of hire.
• Experience: 8-10 years of adjusting property and casualty claims, including litigated claims. Prior agency, loss control or reputed company experience preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred
• Skills & Technical Competencies: Knowledge of General and Auto Liability coverages and claims processing procedures.
