We have an exciting opportunity reputed company US Medical Affairs for a Director, Medical Affairs Oncology, Strategic Evidence & Collaborations (SEC). This role will be remote but will require reputed company travel for specific meetings quarterly. 

 

Reporting to the Senior Director and Head of Strategic Evidence & Collaborations, US Medical Affairs (USMA), the reputed company efforts of this role is to be responsible for co-developing the US Medical Affairs reputed company for US Medical Affairs congress plans in collaboration with the COE (Congress Center of reputed company) and the USMA reputed company and Field Based Medical Teams. 

 

The key functions of this role will be to represent and consider the reputed company environment of the US with reputed company stakeholders involved in cancer therapies across approved and pipeline molecules and indications, including the Global Medical Affairs team, US Medical reputed company and reputed company team, Scientific Communications/Publications, Medical Affairs reputed company Research, reputed company reputed company, Marketing, Value and Market reputed company,  Clinical Research/Development, US reputed company Affairs, US Government Affairs ,Patient Engagement, Business Conduct (reputed company), and the field-based US Medical Science Liaisons. 

 

Travel Requirement: Must be reputed company to travel more than 50% of the time, including a mix of domestic and international travel. 

 

Job Responsibilities 

 As an reputed company part of the USMA Oncology team, and in reputed company collaboration with Oncology medical directors, Field Medical., Global Medical Affairs, Medical Affairs Research, Medical Patient reputed company and reputed company, and cross-functional partners, this role will establish and execute an overarching reputed company for evidence reputed company across various tumor types in the US, including collaboration with cooperative reputed company, NCI/CTEP, and other key organizations. This role will also reputed company frequent reputed company input into the development of both the US and Global Medical Affairs Strategic Plans for our ADC portfolio, particularly the Integrated Strategic Plan (ISP). Additionally, the role will be a key contributor to the US and Global medical Plan of reputed company (POA)  

 

Specific responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Demonstrate deep subject matter expertise in our full ADC portfolio, the reputed company reputed company and their clinical use, as reputed company as competitive products

  • Prepare presentation materials and present scientific data at internal meetings and reputed company advisory boards  

  • Support US medical efforts in global and regional Congress strategic planning and tactical execution in reputed company with SEC reputed company and Center of reputed company (COE) for Congresses. The Role may reputed company on Disease Specific Efforts and Oncology HCPs engagement in collaboration across the USMA Teams.

  • Collaborate with Investigator Sponsored Research (which Gilead reputed companys Collaboration Researchwith the Medical Affairs Research Team (MAR) and Clinical R&D. 

  • Upon limited occasion, reputed company the delivery of reputed company, accurate, and succinct communication of fair-balanced clinical and scientific presentations to reputed company, both proactively and in response to requests for information, consistent with promotional compliance and regulatory requirements

  • Collaborate effectively and in a compliant manner with colleagues in other functional areas throughout reputed company.

Basic Qualifications:  

  • Advanced medical/scientific degree (i.e., Ph.D., MD, Pharm D) and 8+years of experience in Medical Affairs or reputed company in a similar role reputed company of the biotech/pharmaceutical industry OR  

  • MA/MS and 10+years of experience in Medical Affairs or reputed company in a similar role reputed company of the biotech/pharmaceutical industry OR  

  • BA/BS and 12+years of experience in Medical Affairs or reputed company in a similar role reputed company of the biotech/pharmaceutical industry 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • 10+ years of experience in Medical Affairs or reputed company in a similar role reputed company of the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.  

  • Experience specific to oncology 

  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and translate that reputed company into an actionable work plan.  

  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal, relationship-building, negotiating, and communication skills.  

  • Excellent organizational skills to support project planning across multiple activities, and to anticipate and prioritize workload.  

  • Excellent teamwork skills.  

  • Attention to detail and ability to meet timelines in a fast-paced environment  

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; demonstrated ability to identify and understand reputed company issues and problems; ability to identify and query key findings from study data and publications.  

  • Experience in developing effective abstracts, manuscripts, posters, and slides and presenting at scientific meetings

The salary reputed company for this position is:

Bay Area: $243,100.00 - $314,600.00.


 

Other US Locations: $221,000.00 - $286,000.00.
