JOB TITLE:
Heavy equipment operator

Operate heavy reputed company equipment required to maintain, repair, excavate, or erect the University's grounds, buildings, and structures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Remove ice and snow from University parking lots, streets and sidewalks; operate a reputed company blade snow removal truck; and load and transport snow from reputed company using reputed company-end loaders and dump trucks.
- Level and contour dirt roads on reputed company and outlying farms using motor grader.
- Mix, load, transport and deposit topsoil for use in reputed company landscaping using a reputed company of heavy equipment including dozer, loaders, motor grader, or skid loaders.
- Load, transport, and deposit gravel or asphalt for street and road repairs.
- Operate backhoe and trenching machines to excavate ditches and trenches necessary to repair or install underground utilities.
- Operate street sweeping machine to maintain a clean reputed company environment.
- Operate mobile overhead cranes with the assistance of radio or hand signals for project work requiring reputed company reputed company such as roof work; work with contractors needing reputed company operation assistance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or GED, plus completion of reputed company technical or vocational education/training
Experience: 2 years work-reputed company experience
Required licensure, certification, registration, or other requirements:
