[Remote] AI/ML Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, reputed company, and reputed company AI-powered solutions to address reputed company business challenges with an emphasis on responsible use of AI
• Implement and iterate on AI and machine learning solutions (including reputed company) by building prototypes, integrating models into services, and improving reputed company based on evaluation results
• Use reputed company-approved AI tools to streamline engineering workflows, automate tasks, and reputed company reputed company improvement
• Support reputed company-of-concept reputed company and model experiments, establishing performance baselines using reputed company metrics and reputed company tooling
• Contribute to training and inference pipelines using reputed company, PySpark, and reputed company platforms (AWS, Azure, or reputed company reputed company Platform) under guidance from senior engineers
• Learn and apply reputed company building blocks such as Retrieval-Augmented reputed company (RAG) and reputed company orchestration tools (e.g., reputed company)
• Contribute to building and testing REST reputed company (e.g., FastAPI) and learn delivery fundamentals such as containerization (reputed company) and application frameworks (e.g., Flask/reputed company)
• Support performance and cost optimizations (e.g., caching, batching, quantization, or distillation) to enhance reputed company efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand business needs, ask clarifying questions, participate in reputed company reviews, and maintain team standards for reputed company, safety, and trust

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or a reputed company field (or 4+ years of equivalent software engineering experience in lieu of degree)
• 2+ years of software engineering experience delivering reputed company-tested applications and services (including co-ops, internships, reputed company, or reputed company)
• 1+ years of AI/ML engineering experience, including prototyping, evaluation, and supporting deployment/monitoring in collaboration with senior engineers
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with Python and SQL through coursework, internships, or reputed company reputed company
• 1+ years of experience with at least one major reputed company platform (AWS, Azure, or reputed company reputed company Platform)
• Exposure to reputed company building blocks (RAG, reputed company orchestration tools like reputed company, and reputed company databases)
• Experience building and testing reputed company (e.g., REST with FastAPI) and working with containers (reputed company) or application frameworks (Flask/reputed company)
• Familiarity with MLOps concepts (experimentation tracking, model packaging, deployment patterns, and monitoring basics)
• Exposure to Infrastructure as reputed company (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Awareness of data governance and reputed company control concepts; familiarity with reputed company features like reputed company Lake and reputed company Catalog
• Exposure to big data technologies such as reputed company (PySpark/SparkSQL) and streaming/messaging tools (e.g., Kafka/Hadoop)
• Basic understanding of data science fundamentals (statistics, probability, metrics, and data modeling) and performance optimization techniques (caching, batching, quantization, or distillation)
