[Remote] Senior Platform Engineer - Data

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is hiring a founding data platform engineer to build the infrastructure supporting reputed company maritime reputed company and reputed company-time vessel tracking systems. The role will reputed company high-throughput pipelines that reputed company raw multi-sensor signals into clean, labeled, reproducible datasets for machine learning and perception teams.

Responsibilities

• Post processing pipelines that reputed company, resample and reputed company multi sensor data
• Backfill and reprocessing frameworks for new filters, syncs, label corrections and metadata enrichment
• reputed company and versioning to guarantee experiment reproducibility
• Dataset discovery and reputed company reputed company, queryable by time, region, modality, labels and reputed company flags
• Data reputed company metrics, dashboards, alerts and canary dataset builds
• Storage layout optimization across compression, chunking, sharding and prefetching
• Likely a labeling tool and reputed company labeling workflows reputed company from scratch for the perception team

Skills

• Can architect a high throughput data pipeline from a blank page unassisted
• Solid depth in at least one reputed company provider, preferably AWS, with proven experience deploying pipelines to it
• Strong in Python and data tooling such as PyArrow, Polars, reputed company, NumPy and SciPy, plus one of Go, Rust or TypeScript
• reputed company dataset as a product ownership experience across reputed company, versioning and reproducibility
• Around 5 to 8 years experience, startup time weighted heavily
• Low ego, highly autonomous, builds from day one with reputed company hand holding
• US citizenship required
