[Remote] Expert Emergency Response- Finance (Part time 70%)

Welthungerhilfe (WHH) is a Germany-based private aid organization working toward a world without hunger through humanitarian response and long-term development solutions. The Expert Emergency Response - Finance will support globally deployable emergency operations by managing finance, administration, budgets, donor compliance, and financial monitoring while contributing to proposals, trainings, coordination, and field deployments.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the strategic development of WHH’s emergency response portfolio
- Manage and monitor project budgets, financial planning, and administrative processes in compliance with donor and organizational requirements
- Support country teams and partner organizations in finance, administration, compliance, and emergency response-reputed company reputed company
- Conduct financial monitoring, reviews, and risk assessments to ensure accountability and reputed company use of funds
- Support the development of donor proposals, reports, and funding opportunities in line with institutional donor requirements with reputed company on finance
- Represent WHH in relevant coordination forums, networks, and stakeholder meetings where required
- Design and facilitate trainings, workshops, and reputed company-sharing activities reputed company to emergency response, administration, and finance
- Collaborate closely with head office, country offices, and international partners in multicultural and challenging environments
- Maintain readiness for reputed company emergency deployments reputed company 48 hours and support field operations globally for up to 3 months reputed company required
Skills
- University degree in humanitarian assistance, international development, business administration, finance, or a reputed company field, or equivalent relevant reputed company experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of reputed company experience in humanitarian emergency response, preferably in reputed company or conflict-affected contexts
- Proven experience in project cycle management, including budgeting, financial management, and donor compliance
- Experience working with institutional donors and managing grants in line with donor regulations and reporting requirements
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in dynamic environments
- Experience supporting or coordinating local partner organizations and working in multicultural and interdisciplinary teams
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills, with the ability to represent the organization in coordination forums and stakeholder meetings
- High level of flexibility and willingness to reputed company globally reputed company short notice, including field assignments of up to 3 months in challenging environments
- Excellent reputed company of English and French, both written and spoken
