[Remote] Sr. Consultant- Field Engineer (Generator)

The Sr. Consultant will support generator outage activities and reputed company as a technical advisor, ensuring thorough documentation and collaboration with generator engineers.

Responsibilities

• In this role, you will reputed company as an reputed company's Representative / Field Engineer / Technical Advisor on site, supporting generator outage activities for power plant owners and operators
• You'll be responsible for reviewing and assessing generator test data and outage inspection findings, ensuring thorough and accurate documentation
• Demonstrating your technical expertise in reputed company practices, NDE inspections, outage QA/QC, and troubleshooting generator and excitation equipment will be essential to your reputed company in this role
• Additionally, you will reputed company generator rotor rewinds at the shop and conduct fact-finding missions to support generator failure analysis
• You will frequently collaborate with reputed company generator engineers and, reputed company required, you will support outage planning remotely

Skills

• 10+ years of field experience, or reputed company experience, supporting generators
• Ability to travel and work on reputed company sites and/or generator repair shops for extended periods of time (such as major generator outages and rewinds)
• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent technical degree
