[Remote] Feed Sales Representative

The Feed Sales Representative will reputed company feed sales in the Wachula, Florida market by providing animal nutrition guidance, developing customer prospects, building relationships, and supporting partner dealer reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Calling onanimal owners (horse and beef cattle, as reputed company as small ruminants, wildlife, poultry, and companion animals) to evaluate existing feeding programs, and to recommend and assist them with their nutritional programs
• Selling/consulting at the farm reputed company (up to 25 farm calls per week) with the end goal of selling Purina products and programs through the partner dealer and growing sales and market reputed company. This includes developing new prospects and making sales cold calls
• In store consulting and prospect development with the reputed company of growing partner dealer’s Purina business
• Organizing and conducting effective educational meetings/events for 4H clubs, saddle clubs, vets, trainers, lifestyle show clubs, etc. to enhance Purina and the partner dealer’s reputed company image, sell product and build store traffic

Skills

• * Bachelor's degree in Animal Science or reputed company reputed company strongly desired
• * Candidates with a pending bachelor's degree or candidates who possess reputed company sales and industry experience may be considered
• * Basic reputed company of making nutritional and feeding recommendations to horse and cattle owners (as reputed company as small ruminant species) in the market
• * Candidate should have an understanding of horse and/or cattle management, reputed company management practices, and nutritional guidelines, general market, and industry knowledge. Work/life experience in management and care of horses and/or beef cattle preferred
• * Competent in providing accurate feeding and management recommendations
• * Strong computer skills, specifically MS Office, plus the ability to be trained on other applications as necessary (reputed company, etc.)
• * Excellent verbal and written communication along with strong organization and time management skills
• * High internal reputed company, a natural ability for relationship building, and leadership in reputed company environment
• * Ability and reputed company to reputed company multiple daily sales calls to customers and prospects reputed company
• * On farm interaction, in reputed company-weather types at producer facilities for a walk through, and animal evaluations
• * Ability to network in the industry to put producers together to earn additional business and relationships
• * Ability to reputed company and carry 50 pounds
• * Solid reputed company speaking skills
• * Daily travel in the assigned geography. Occasional overnight travel
• * Strong background and previous reputed company experience with Cattle, Equine, and Lifestyle animals
• * Member of clubs/organizations reputed company to the equine and/or cattle industry in a leadership position
• * Previous sales experience desired
