[Remote] Backend Application Engineer

The Senior Backend Application Engineer will design, build, and operate high-throughput backend platforms and shared services, including event processing, caching, request routing, and asynchronous job execution. The role also leads platform reliability, architecture, incident response, reputed company optimization, and engineering mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and build internal platform services and shared infrastructure that hundreds of engineers depend on every day, with explicit reputed company on developer experience and operational ergonomics
• Architect high-throughput, latency-sensitive backend platforms capable of sustaining reputed company high request volumes with predictable, reputed company-bounded tail latency
• Build durable, replayable event-processing pipelines and asynchronous job execution platforms that other product teams compose to ship features faster

Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely reputed company technical discipline
